Creating an Invisible Folder

If you will google how to make a folder invisible the results will be
upsetting as the searches will show how to hide a folder rather than
making it invisible. Well it’s quite easy to make a folder invisible by 
following these three steps.

Step 1 : To Remove The Name Of Folder

Right click on the target folder which you want to make invisible.

Click on rename and replace the name with ‘ ’ by pressing spacebar.

Now your folder will appear without a name.

Step 2 : To Get Invisible Icon

Open LibreOffice writer from the dash.

Now , open software screenshot using dash.

( If you don’t have this software you can get it from Software Center. )

Now select the option “select area to grab” and then
“take screenshot”.

Take a small rectangular screenshot of the plain white
area of LibreOffice Writer.

Save the screenshot in png format.

Step 3 : To Make The Icon Of The Folder Invisible

Again right click on the target folder and click on properties or

alternatively, use alt + enter to directly open the properties window.

In properties, window click on the folder’s icon .

It will open a window where you can choose the icon for our target

folder .

Choose the screenshot we saved.

So finally, you have your invisible folder.
